Based on the philosophy of Aleister Crowley's Thélema, La Makgia de Maat. A guide to self-initiation is a key book of contemporary ceremonial makgia that places the neophyte in the right direction to achieve initiation into the occult autonomously, without the need for membership in lodges or orders. The Aeon of Maat, inspired by the Egyptian goddess of justice, reached its achievement and zenith by the hand of the American ceremonial magician Nema Andahadna through the vital revelation that she experienced and turned into a magical manifesto: Liber Pennae Praenumbra. The Makgia de Maat highlights values such as empathy, ecology, equality and the integration of the human being with everything that surrounds him. However, Nema's esoteric vision agrees with the Eastern Tao: all light has its dark side and reveals the Forgotten: Typhoonian entities of our collective unconscious that we must "feed". The work consists of two parts: In the first, Nema recounts the history and characteristics of La Makgia de Maat, while in the second, much more practical, it reveals to the reader in detail its ceremonial rituals to achieve the long-awaited self-initiation.

Nema Andahadna (Cincinnati, 1939-2017) experienced her first esoteric experience as a child, attaining shamadi while meditating in her school's worship chapel. He received a BA in Philosophy and Letters from Mount St. Joseph University. There he drank, smoked cigarettes, and even admitted that he sometimes wore a razor strapped to his thigh. After breaking with a life of social conventions, he began to frequent a heterodox group: the CCCCC (Cincinnati Chapter of the Crowned and Conquering Child). For a time, he was a member of the TOTO (Typhonian Ordo Templi Orientis) and the EOD (Esoteric Order of Dagon). She also served as a priestess in the Circle of the Sacred Grove, the Wiccan Pantheist Church of Ohio, without neglecting aspects of Eastern esotericism of a Taoist, Buddhist or Hindu nature. Nema was a Thelemite and Typhonian for much of her life, influenced by the magical ideas of Aleister Crowley and Kenneth Grant. He dedicated more than three decades of his life to hermetic studies and practices of the most diverse nature.
