Copal, of Peruvian origin, is an aromatic resin from the copal tree, used by the ancient Mayan and Inca civilisations for the energetic cleansing of spaces used for special events. Known as "the incense of the earth" in Central and South America, it has an aroma of "wild herb mixtures" with a hint of olibanum.
